Today we motored about 12 hours and 140 miles on the Cumberland River from Rock Harbor Marina, TN to Green Turtle Bay near Paducah, KY. Some rain in the morning, a few large “tows” with a massive push-boat and up to 15 barges.
When we arrived, friendly Green Turtle Bay dock hands helped us fill the tanks that needed to be filled and empty the tanks that needed to be emptied. We then headed to dinner at GTB!
