On Sunday, Matt, Shirley, Marilyn and we participated in worship through “Crossroads Anywhere”, a video streaming app of the Bonnes’ Cincinnati church. Inspiring music and a good message from Chuck Mingo about “Trust.”
Later we drove to Stan’s Idle Hour in the nearby village of Goodland for lunch and outdoor live music. Stan’s is on the water, and its patrons arrive by motorcycle, by boat, and sometimes by Bentley. Don’t miss it if you visit Marco Island!
We watched the sun set over the Gulf of Mexico, shared dinner (including fresh local seafood) at Marilyn’s beautiful La Peninsula condo, and caught up with her neighbors and friends Jean and Jan, who we knew from prior years’ stays at La P.
It’s good to be back on Marco Island!
Oh Marco – so good to see you made it there, while enjoying beautiful weather and fellowship.
My 3 kids flew in last Thursday from Seattle and Sioux Falls – Greg drove down from GR.
With the arrival of a new great-granddaughter Jan 8, we decided it was appropriate to meet her
so all drove up to GR. What a great time!
