We are enjoying and getting to know our new home-for-now in Key West.
We took a dinghy ride with Scott and Cathy to get familiar with the island.
I have done a few boat projects and joined Scott two days at daily community pickle ball round robins. A good workout and a way to meet others who are in Key West for a week, a month, or longer (including, fortunately, more beginners like me).
Rhonda has taken the bike out with Cathy, enjoyed the Marina pool, used her sewing machine to do some boat canvas repairs, participated in a Zoom Bible study, and hosted a party for dock neighbors.
Our Marina is next to Naval Air Station Key West, used to patrol for aircraft and boats coming our way from Cuba (only 90 miles from here) and Central America. We are near enough to NASKW that this morning I clearly heard the national anthem play, and as soon as the music faded three fighter jets took off VERY loudly. Our friend Scott calls it the sound of freedom.

Good to hear from you, Kevin! The last few days have been cooler in Key West, with showers and evening temps in the high 50s or low 60s. That brings out sweatshirts here!
